Food waste or food loss is food that is discarded or lost uneaten. The causes of food waste or loss are numerous and occur at the  stages of producing, processing, retailing and consuming. THE PROBLEM OF FOOD WASTE. Unfortunately, it is not an exaggeration to say that food waste is one of the biggest problems facing mankind today. Here's why: A prolonged market failure. Between 33-50% of all food produced globally is never eaten, and the value of this wasted food is worth over $1 trillion. To put that  in perspective, in the USA food waste represents 1.3% of the total GDP. In India, the value of food wastage (harvest and  post-harvest losses of major agricultural produce) is estimated at around ₹92,000 crore per annum. What are tiny daily habits? How that could be life changing? What is a Habit? Habits are routine behaviours done on a regular basis. They are recurrent and often unconscious patterns of behaviour and are acquired through frequent repetition. Many of these are unconscious as we don't even realise we are doing them. But as a behaviour becomes a habit, as it becomes automatic, it moves into the basal ganglia, which is one of the oldest structures in our brain and it’s near the centre of our skull. And when things happen in the basal ganglia, it doesn’t feel like the thought. That’s why a habit feels automatic, is because it’s happening in this part of your brain that for all intents and purposes, from what we think of like thinking, is completely exempt from that process. CHANGES.   Fall is upon us—the air is getting cooler, the days are getting shorter and soon there will be autumn leaves collecting at our feet in tiny ochre mounds. Just as the earth prepares for a change—the most constant thing it has ever known—by adapting constantly to a new way of existing, you can learn to embrace the changes that life throws your way. And with the right mindset, what once seemed like an obstacle becomes an opportunity to grow. Change can be scary. It doesn't matter if you are going through a small change or a big one, doing something totally different than you are used to can be terrifying. So what is CHANGE? Change is that phase of your life, which helps you grow, makes you think out of the box, changes your perspective, and if all these is done with a right mindset one can definitely change this world.
